Dear Friend,
Don’t die with the music still inside you!
At 38 I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer one week prior to my final divorce court date and given a 50% chance of survival.
I am a second degree black belt and at that time had a business training men and women in the areas of emotional, physical and spiritual well-being and inner balance.
HOWEVER, when I got that phone call the inner balance went out the door. I threw myself on the ground kicking, crying, screaming.
I cried these words out to God, “I still have music to play to the world inside of me...bring to me everything I need to heal.”
I wrote this book so that you would NEVER have to get to the extreme circumstances of disease and suffering that I did in order to heal my stress.
I wrote this book so you would have the TOOLS to let go of your stress, and create a new life for yourself.
I know first hand that stress creates disease. I want you never to have to make that discovery. You can get your stress handled, and it’s IMPERATIVE that you do. Your health is depending on it!
What’s your song?
What music do you have within YOU that has the potential of inspiring others?
Don’t die without singing your song… it is unique, beautiful and filled with the potential to inspire the world around you.
Sincerely,

PS. 99 Things You Wish You Knew Before... Stressing Out is your solution to get healthy NOW.

No Stress = No Disease.
A recent study out of UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center revealed that chronic stress acts like fertilizer to cancer cells.
Have you ever broken down the word disease?
Dis-ease: Feelings of uneasiness in the body. Usually because you feel a potential threat to your safety (emotionally, physically or psychologically). When you feel unsafe, you feel disconnected and you begin to stress out: Have you ever caught yourself thinking these stress thoughts?
One way to disconnect from feelings of insecurity is to connect to that which is SECURE within you—along with what you VALUE most in life.
You will find that when you align yourself to that which you value most, you connect to a deep and abiding sense of safety in all situations. This, in turn, releases a sense of ease in your body by activating your parasympathetic nervous system – the OPPOSITE of stress!
When your priorities are clear your decisions are easy, which in turn lowers the stress and dis-ease level inside of your body. Remember, it’s your choice.
But we all encounter stress, so what do you do when it comes up?
Do You Fight, Flee, or Freeze?
It is worth repeating what exactly happens in a body exposed to continual stress.
AND
Remember the definition of stress?
Stress is a signal within your body giving you the opportunity to identify and adjust your perception of a situation and your behavior.
FIGHT, FLIGHT or FREEZE are the only responses your body has to stressful situations.
Fight: You can stay and fight, or you can shift your perception and begin to seek creative solutions and options.
Flight: You can run away from what you perceive to be a stressful situation, or you can take action and seek resolution.
Freeze: You can freeze or remain emotionally paralyzed.
If you remain in a stressful situation, your body starts to feel TAXED. If you remain in a stressful situation long-term, DISEASE becomes more likely.

Did you know that...
...Gratitude Can Save Your Life!
When you practice gratitude on a daily basis you get physiological benefits:
Wow, that’s a lot of benefits!
So, you might be wondering what else causes stress?
**IMPORTANT – READ THIS**
Here’s a HIDDEN STRESS FACTOR, that if you don’t get it handled now, can get out of control in your life:
The Disease to Please
The disease to please comes from farming out your sense of identity into the acts of service you do for OTHERS.
Serving others in this world is a wonderful experience with many emotional and physiological benefits, but you’re TRAPPED when your sense of who you are is directly linked to what you do for others.
When you’ve given your power away to something or someone outside of yourself, this leaves you vulnerable to emotional instability.
The disease to please is often accompanied by this ONE THOUGHT:
“How can I get people to like me?”
Perfectionism also walks hand-in-hand with the disease to please. You want things to go perfectly, because perfection means that you are LOVABLE.
A vicious cycle often accompanies this condition: “I please you; then I feel good about me. I don’t please you; then I don’t feel good about me.”
Are you starting to see how these thoughts can cause STRESS?
Because no one can be pleased with you all the time. And you can’t be perfect all the time. So if those are your standards, and you can’t live up to them (because no one can) you are going to live in STRESS.
